Styled a black corset with a long black skirt to create a goth doll look and ensured the waist was tight waist as to make it appear smaller. Extenuated features through lighter white makeup and dark eyeshadow and eyeliner.
1900s vintage corset dresses with multiple ruffles
Gypsy doll inspired look with a multicolored floral printed skirt paired with a red body suit topped with a sheer slightly ripped top
Men’s red 1900s tailcoat complete with black pants, boot toppers, white under shirt, and a double-breasted vest
Button up shirt paired with suspenders as to implement a more child like appearance; paired with green knickers, colorful striped leg warmers and worn-out boots
Added two black capes as to make the voices of Mingus fit the costume choice of Mingus distraught cloak
I constructed the yellow and blue dress for these two individuals within the play as to correspond with the puppet that they maneuver. The puppets dress (Beatrice) is covered in blue and yellow flowers, therefore I wanted to extenuate those minor details by making the operators clothing a pastel yellow and blue.
Added strings of fabric to cloak to make Mingus the fungus attire appeal more unappealing
Sheer ballerina body suit with brown ribbon paired with a petticoat
I constructed the pattern, design concept and built the bear attire pictured by implementing burlap fabric as to give the bear a coarser appearing texture. As well as implemented two contrasting tones of burlap to provide more variety within the color spectrum of the bear
