My designs involve an extensive use of texture and layering for the troupe and a simpler, more natural appeal for the Nymphs and Ariadne. Despite the stark distinction between the two groups, I strove to ensure that each look was compelling and intriguing through various techniques. They all needed to feel as if they were from a playful world.

This design was a part of the Apprentice Scene program at the Santa Fe Opera in which I was assigned Ariadne of Naxos. I was given a budget of $0 and two weeks to design, fit and alter nine looks.
